The latest update 3.7 of Genshin Impact confirms a huge quality-of-life improvement that makes one element that the game is more accessible to players.

 Starfield players have been urging Bethesda to honor a gaming enthusiast who died before having an opportunity to play the highly anticipated space-based RPG from the studio. The pleas were posted online after a few players had already pledged to be the first to name the Starfield ship in honor of an individual who died in the game.

In the month of March, Alex Hay took to Reddit to express his displeasure over his disappointment at the Starfield launch date announcement informing the world that he'd just ended treatments for cancer of the lung and had been being treated with hospice care. Hay stated that he's been watching Starfield for many years and hoped to play it before passing away, but waiting for the release date until Sept. 6 is "unlikely." Hay advised future players to at the very least have fun in his honor, and then passed away just a few days later, aged 35.

A section of the community then started soliciting Bethesda to come up with an honor in the game to Hay. Their requests have been mostly confined to a tiny Twitter campaign that uses the hashtag #AlexInStarfield. It began in the middle of May. Although the campaign hasn't yet been widely shared Bethesda's YouTube channel Light recently revealed that the studio had been informed of Hay's tragic story. Furthermore, Light shared on Twitter that the studio is "likely" planning to pay tribute to the fan who died in Starfield with unidentified sources.
